Ascent into Madness
my thinking became increasingly distorted on
this day until I had no choice but to act out.


Pills, some good, some bad



I became giddy and my obsessions spiralled out of control

An old obsession came to visit

An old obsession came back to haunt me


But the newest one was closer to home

I lost all focus




Faster and Faster

Thoughts come and go too quickly
actions and thoughts disassociated from one another
The entire world is in chaos
My minds eye is in the center of a whirl that is on a perilous course
Faster and Faster
My body doesn't matter any more, I've discarded it
I am a being who is no longer in control
Swept away for a ride to unknown destinations
I've surrendered, it has won, God help me
